Project Description:

The Hickory Ridge Landfill, a closed facility located in Conley, GA received the 2012 Landfill Methane Outreach Program Project of the Year Award. This project is Combined Cooling, Heating, and Power (CCHP) that delivers Landfill Gas to the Coca-Cola’s Atlanta Syrup Branch facility along a 6-mile, dedicated LFG pipeline. The project involved the permitting of three (3) engines in a severe ozone non-attainment area. MAS Energy developed this project quickly to meet a deadline to receive a U.S. Treasury Section 1603 grant.

Contribution:

FE&C Personnel assisted with the pipeline design, Title V Permit Review, Obtaining the building permit, and Treatment System Construction Drawing Preparation for this project.
